It can be installed on the bow only, and has an electric DC motor with a single propeller.
The propeller is made of a sturdy composite material. The solenoid is protected, the gearbox is made of bronze and the zinc anode is independent from the gearbox, which makes it easy to replace. The thruster is also equipped with an elastic coupling. The kit includes the single-propeller thruster, bow thruster tunnel, control cable, push-button controller, fuse & fuse-holder.

Tunnel thrusters are the most common type of thrusters. The tunnel is installed through either the bow or the stern, and below the waterline. The tunnel protects the propulsion unit and concentrates the propeller’s thrust.
Better performances, lower absorption
The 4-blade propellers guarantee maximum thrust performance and reduction in current absorption. They are made of composite materials, resistant in every condition. The counter-rotating system offers better thrust performances. The two propellers have each been designed to suit left side and right side, to guarantee the same upper performances in both directions.
The gearbox has been designed so that the behaviour of the propeller is unaffected in either direction. The bronze propeller gear leg is provided with a hydrodynamic profile that minimizes turbulence.
Maintenance is not required since the special highly-resistant components guarantee a perfect lubrication seal for life. The anodic aluminium protection is easily replaceable. In case of total corrosion of the anode, the propeller doesn’t get lost because it’s fixed directly to the pod, independently from the anode.
The elastic joint that optimizes the alignment between motor and gearbox is an exclusive Quick design. This acts as an even-tension device, preserving the operating system from impulses from the bow thruster, with above-average results.

What if my boat is longer than 7.5m (25ft)?
If your boat is longer than 7.5m (25ft) then you will need a larger thruster, such as the Quick BTQ125 Bow Thruster Kit for 6m - 8.5m Boats, the Quick BTQ125 Bow Thruster Kit for 7m - 9m Boats or the Quick BTQ140 Bow or Stern Thruster for 7m-9.5m Boats.

Most small orders will be shipped by Startrack or Australia Post if the order fits within its weight/dimensions guidelines. Larger orders are shipped using the most economical options from one of our other transport partners.

Free Standard Shipping is available for orders over $250, of certain products, and will be applied automatically as a discount code during checkout.

Shipping Insurance - Not included in our FREE Standard Shipping Offer
Shipping insurance covers any order lost or damaged during transit (if selected during checkout). The cost of insurance is based on a small percentage of your order value. Shipping insurance will not cover orders that have been delivered and given authority to leave, but have gone missing.

Delivery to PO BOXES
Oversized products, dangerous goods, some various other items that require special packaging cannot be shipped to PO Boxes. You will not see a shipping option if your cart contains these items and you have entered a PO box in the shipping address field. Either change your shipping address to a physical address or contact us to provide a quote for shipping your items to a PO box.
