Note: The Sherpa ATV winch is designed as a recovery winch. It has limitations and should not be relied on for hoist type applications. If the application requires winching out and lowering of loads, it's suggested a electric braked winch be considered such as the Sherpa Grunter (see related products).

Braking Design: Beware of cheap imitations! Many winches on the market use a 'Brake in drum' design which causes heat to build up in the winch drum damaging synthetic rope. 'Brake in Drum' winches are low cost and not designed for synthetic rope, this will become obvious at the most inconvenient time. Sherpa ATV Winches are compatible with all types and brands of synthetic rope and feature an automatic brake in gearbox design that's simple, reliable and powerful.
Electrics: Sherpa ATV winches come standard with fully sealed, water tight, heavy duty solenoid by Albright International. Albright are well known to make the best solenoids in the world so they are standard inclusion in Sherpa winches.
Simplicity: Sherpa winches are supplied with the parts and materials making installation easy for the home mechanic. Heavy/oversize items, hazardous items or items that include liquid do not qualify for Express Delivery because they cannot be sent via air.
Standard Shipping (via Road) - usually arrives within 5-9 days
Most small orders will be shipped by Startrack or Australia Post if the order fits within its weight/dimensions guidelines. Larger orders are shipped using the most economical options from one of our other transport partners.
We usually dispatch your order within 24 hours of receiving confirmation of payment (excluding weekends and public holidays).

Shipping insurance covers any order lost or damaged during transit (if selected during checkout). The cost of insurance is based on a small percentage of your order value. Shipping insurance will not cover orders that have been delivered and given authority to leave, but have gone missing.
International Orders - delivery time varies
International orders cannot be processed through our shopping cart online, as yet. To place an international order, please contact our customer service team to obtain a quote including shipping.
Delivery to PO BOXES
Oversized products, dangerous goods, some various other items that require special packaging cannot be shipped to PO Boxes. You will not see a shipping option if your cart contains these items and you have entered a PO box in the shipping address field. Either change your shipping address to a physical address or contact us to provide a quote for shipping your items to a PO box.
